It was considered one of the most successful tank locomotives in Germany, was the most versatile locomotive in Württemberg and regionally. The tender steam locomotive with wheel arrangement 1 'C-1'-with symmetrical and relatively long wheelbase was bought from the firm in 1909, adding a long hoped-for improvement. The T 5 was in operation for more than 50. This is clear proof of their reliability and operational integrity. The last machines of the series 75.0 of the DB stopped in 1963. The last operational locomotive 75 042 was still kept for several years, but unfortunately was scrapped in 1967. Thus, unfortunately, none of these reliable and harmonious regarded locomotives have been preserved. With this book, the Wurttemberg T 5 is thus "posthumously" a worthy souvenir.
